I bought it, but the app wants me to pay again

Tap Bought it before? Restore purchases on the payment screen, or Settings, Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy.

I have a new phone

Your purchase comes with you: sign in to the same store account and tap Restore purchases. Your diary comes with you if your phone's backup is on (iCloud or Google). If you used Settings, Keep a copy, open the app on the new phone and use Settings, Bring back a copy.

How do I redeem a gift code?

In the app, tap I have a gift code. Your app store opens so you can type in the code. Come back to Second Gear when it's done.

How do I cancel?

iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Second Gear. Android: Google Play, your profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel the subscription.

Why doesn't the app have an account?

So your scores and notes never leave your phone. The store remembers your purchase, so you don't need one.

How do I delete my data?

Settings, Erase everything on this phone removes your diary. If you signed up for Debbie's news, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us and we'll delete your address. More on deleting your data.
